Our Onboarding Process
Our onboarding process is very simple and time saving, this is how we do it:
Step 1
You will book a call with us where we will talk about the issues that you’re facing and/or visit your facility and send you a free compliance assessment with a service proposal.
Step 2
Once the contract has begun, our team will visit you on-site, interview your team members, conduct a facility walkthrough, and gather chemical inventory, hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwater, air permit, and other EHS program data.
Step 3
We will enter all the collected data into our databases and organize them for ongoing compliance.
Step 4
We’ll organize this information into electronic folders for easy management. We will also organize everything in physical binders so they’re readily available when government inspectors visit your facility.
Step 5
Next, we will make a compliance calendar to track all the activities that we and you need to do throughout the year to remain compliant.
Step 6
We will complete the plans/reports identified as “missing” during our initial assessment to ensure that we are compliant and ready for the ongoing maintenance program.

“BSY started working with CDMS last year after our in-house EHS person departed the company. CDMS reviewed our existing operational permits as well as any additional Federal, State and Local regulations that could apply and helped us to create a comprehensive compliance calendar to track regulatory deadlines and submittal due dates. The CDMS team does an excellent job of tracking everything and can be relied upon to complete the forms accurately and assist with submittals, allowing me to focus on our business.”

FAQ
How much will you charge for your services?
We don’t have a fixed price for all clients, because our charges depend on the complexity of operations from an environmental and safety perspective. How many chemicals you use and their nature, how much hazardous waste you ship, how much of your team needs to be trained, and such.
What is your experience in my industry?
We've worked with companies in manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare, tech and more. EHS regulations depend not on the industry but on the chemicals and equipment used in your facility. Tell us about your business, and we'll share relevant experience and/or case studies.
How often will you be on-site?
It depends on your needs, so we'll create a schedule that works for your facility.
What if an environmental or OSHA inspector makes a surprise visit or we receive a Notice of Violation?
We use a “team approach” for such issues and ensure that we’re always there to give you maximum coverage. Even if the specialist assigned to your facility is unavailable when a notice or an inspector arrives, then another of our team members will reach out to you to resolve any issues.
How quickly can you start?
We can typically begin within a week of signing an agreement and receiving a deposit payment.
