CDMS Expands EHS Capabilities by welcoming Greg Roop as Senior EHS Engineer and Team Lead
CDMS, a leading provider of environmental, health and safety (EH&S) consulting services, has hired Greg Roop as Senior EHS Engineer. Roop will lead the development of new client services and engagements while overseeing CDMS’s team of EH&S specialists.
Roop brings over 20 years of extensive expertise in EH&S compliance, regulations and process improvement strategies. His background driving regulatory adherence solutions for chemical, personal care and food companies aligns with CDMS’s mission to deliver impactful consulting for industrial clients.
Prior to joining CDMS, Roop served as Associate Director of Compliance for IMCD US, LLC, where he optimized quality, safety, environmental and regulatory programs across nine U.S. sites. As Director of Compliance at ET Horn Company, he achieved ISO and AS9120 certifications, implemented current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) programs, and managed permitting, hazardous waste, Department of Transportation and OSHA compliance.
In his new role at CDMS, Roop will analyze regulatory changes to guide service development, establish best practices for the specialist team, mentor staff, and cultivate lasting client partnerships. His areas of expertise include hazardous materials, stormwater, air quality, wastewater compliance and FDA/OSHA regulations.
Roop holds a B.A. in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton and is a certified Cal/OSHA-30 professional. He actively participates in the Alliance for Chemical Distribution and Institute of Food Technologists.
